The Evangelical Free Church Home was established in 1912. Quality of life exemplified in Christian love, compassion and understanding is the basic philosophy and objective of the Home.
Starting from a two-story structure the home has expanded to a multi-wing facility with beds for 120 residents, a kitchen, dining rooms, laundry, beauty shop, office and a multi-purpose chapel/activity area. |

The Evangelical Free Church Home at Boone, Iowa, marks 97 years of blessing and comfort in caring for our senior citizens. Here in the heart of Iowa there is kindly, godly and considerate care for those in the sunset years of life.
EFCH is ninety-seven years young and continuing to grow and expand in our service to Christ, the elderly, their families, and the community. We have cared for the elderly in the past, we care for them today and we look forward to continuing the rich history of caring for them in the future. Our heart and passion are in our service to our residents. Our hands demonstrate that caring and commitment.
That's the story, in one paragraph, of the Evangelical Free Church Home at Boone, Iowa, which this year is embarking on a major building and renovation project. The Evangelical Free Church of America can thank God sincerely for the vision of it's early leaders in starting the home in 1912 and in continuing it until this day with regular improvements. We will be updating you frequently as we continue through our growing process.
